Thank You Bhutan

This is our last Bhutan blog and we want to thank a lot of wonderful people who helped make this a once in a lifetime adventure.  To the teachers and students at Etho Metho school who welcomed us and made us feel at home, we give our deepest gratitude.  To the doctors, nurses and patients at the JDW National Referral Hospital, and all the other HVO volunteers, our respect and admiration.

To Leila, Jocelyn and Alethia, thanks you for being our first friends in Bhutan. To all those who guided us, fed us and taught us about this amazing country, we again thank you for your generosity.

Here is a slide show I put together to express our thanks,

Maya and family

  1. You guys are amazing! Loved the slide show - it brought tears to my eyes! We have missed you and can't believe how fast this adventure has gone - it makes me yearn for one of our own...Beenie talks about Livi every day. Truly, any failure to communicate with Livi has been my fault not being organized enough (my brain is a sieve). Happiest of birthdays to Livi and Maya and we will celebrate when you return - Beenie has planned the welcome back party down to the last detail. We just need to know when you are back! Love, Monique
