Best Bugs of Bhutan 2- by Olivia

We found this praying mantis on the back of Mama's shirt while out on a hike!

This walking stick had it's head crushed but was still moving.

We found this jumbo butterfly in the gutter- so we call him "gutterfly"

This roach was on a lamppost of a chorten (a sacred structure containing relics).

He was the biggest cockroach we saw- and we saw TONS!

We were in a field with thousands of grasshoppers- everywhere we stepped they jumped in different directions.

This is Daddy's finger next to a huge ladybug.

We found it while sitting outside the car on a windy mountain road waiting for a rock side to be cleared

This is one of the million kinds of butterflies we saw.

This cockroach was hanging out at the hospital with hundreds of his buddies

These guys are everywhere and make loud chirping noises all day and night.

This dragonfly landed on Audrey's hand in the apple orchards in Bumbtang.
