We live in San Francisco, California. Will is an emergency medicine physician and Karen is a pediatrician. Maya, Olivia and Audrey attend a performing arts elementary school. We have started this blog at the onset of a sabbatical to Bhutan as members of Health Volunteers Overseas.

Two days to get here and worth every minute

The girls have been amazing travelers. Very little sleep and lots of airplane food, we arrived safe and sound to clear skies and wonderful views. We are now settled into our apartment in Thimphu (two more hours of travel by mountain roads) and looking forward to our first good night sleep since leaving home.
