We live in San Francisco, California. Will is an emergency medicine physician and Karen is a pediatrician. Maya, Olivia and Audrey attend a performing arts elementary school. We have started this blog at the onset of a sabbatical to Bhutan as members of Health Volunteers Overseas.

    Shae and Cameron wrote you a big message the other day but I don't see it here. We were in the car on the way back from Lizzie's ice skating competition (she was wonderful and she placed second), and they must not have pressed the right button. There were a lot of caps and 'I love you and miss yous' so I'm just passing that along. :)

    School started Monday. The classes have been rearranged a bit. People are still getting used to that. The school itself looks pretty great - new paint and upgraded stage. Maya, your belongings go upstairs now. Hooks, not cubbies.

    What language do they speak in Bhutan?
